M.E. in PSG Tech, coimbatore.

hai,
i want to wish everyone who are preparing for the tancet examination.
Last year it was my turn to search the tancet preparation material. By God's grace ,i got through it, now i m doing my M.E. in PSG Tech, coimbatore.
Please be serious while u r preparing for the tancet exam, when compared to Gate the syllabus of tancet is so vast, last minute preparation is not at all possible in this, so put a time table to cover the syllabus atleast two months before. when compared to Gate u need not to study the material soooo deeeeeeply, understand and study thats enough for tancet. In tancet u ll have three sections i)maths ii)basic science iii)ur respective core subject(like cse, civi, eee, etc.,) Inorder to score more marks please concentrate on section (i) & (iii), collect QP bank which u can get from many book centres. Analyse the QP pattern, for eg., in mathematics more questions ll be asked in a specific topic-analyse that with atleast 7 to 8 yrs Qp. surely u ll be able to find it.....do the same for ur core section also. regarding the basic science section start to prepare it 20 days before the exam since there is vast topics included under this section u cant be sure abt the QP, so better concentrate on the sec(i)and (iii) where u can do it confidently. Remeber there is negative mark also but it ll not create that much impact when compared to GATE at the same time try to avoid the negative marks. In counseling .05 marks play significant role, ther ll be atleast 70 to 100 candidates ll be there with the difference of 00.15 only. so each decimal is important for u...
for the BC candidate as per 2011 scenario below 45 marks there s no chance for entering the top government colleges, below 40 there is no chance for good private colleges.Remember its not B.E. councelling as every one can enter, only few thousands seat ll be available.
Pray and work hard to achieve ur goal. Let the Almighty give u His divine wisdom.
ALL THE VERY BEST.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR TANCET EXAM?

HOW TO PREPARE FOR TANCET EXAM?
Preparing for TANCET can be as easy as preparing for your college examinations. Just take little cautions while studying any topic and do remember that TANCET paper focus on your in depth knowledge of subject, your basics, presence of mind during examination.

We recommend you to follow these suggestions while preparing for your TANCET exams people may differ but you can try if it suites you
Always follow standard books for TANCET. Try to cover complete syllabus. If not possible expertise in whatever portion of syllabus you practice.

Keep yourself updated about the recent developments in TANCET by either logging on to Learnhub or their official site. Check the latest syllabus and paper pattern before you start preparing.

Try preparing notes after reading each chapter/topic. For this you need to prepare way too ahead of the examination. No last minute learning

This may initially take some time but will help you while revising before paper.

While reading any chapter/topic try asking yourself the following questions“What”, “How”, and “Why”, by this you can see much improvement.
Best way to prepare is to follow a cycle- Learn, Test, Analyze, Improve, Again - Learn, Test, Analyze, Improve

Do remember that TANCET is completely objective question based test. Most of time solving objective questions is tricky.
In case of doubts do ask some expert or use forums to discuss questions as provided. You can even consult your professors and seniors in case of any doubts.

Don’t worry if your percentage in university exams is low as TANCET admissions do not consider them.
Just maintain minimum percentage required by many colleges including IIT’s.
Look at previous TANCET Cutoff and eligibility section to know eligibility and cut off of various colleges.

Group study is one of the best ways of preparation.

Divide sections/topics between you and your friends and have a brief session on topic from yourfriend before you actually start topic.

This will save your time and efforts and will improve you and your friend’s understanding on the topic.

Normally coaching for TANCET is not required but if you are not able to concentrate much then this is a good option.

Practice as many model test papers as possible.

Analyze your score in model test papers and compare your performance periodically to see how you improve.

Above all you can always start with a prayer to God to bless your efforts. It is like a meditation that prepares your mind to a positive state. Even before you write your TANCET exam you can pray for God’s blessings to help you answer with wisdom.
